SKF has expanded its trusted grease gun and pump range with the introduction of the new LAGC S coupler, a solution designed to improve lubrication performance, operational safety, and ease of use across industrial applications.
The latest addition reflects SKF’s continued commitment to innovation in rotating equipment and maintenance technology, offering operators a more efficient and user-friendly lubrication experience.
The SKF LAGC S coupler features a robust lever-action design capable of handling a maximum working pressure of 550 Bar (8000 PSI), making it suitable for demanding industrial lubrication tasks.
According to Eddie Martens, SKF Product Manager – MaPro, the coupler was developed to simplify manual lubrication processes while improving operator comfort and safety.
“The convenient one-handed operation allows for easier handling, while the reliable locking and quick-release mechanism creates a leak-proof seal for hands-free lubrication,” explained Martens.
One of the key features of the LAGC S is its reverse-jaw locking design, which enables the coupler to latch securely onto grease fittings without needing to be manually held in place during operation. This helps reduce operator fatigue while also minimising the risk of leaks, grease spillage, and damaged fittings.
The coupler is compatible with all manual, air-operated, and electrically driven grease guns and pumps, as well as most standard industrial DIN and SAE grease fittings. SKF notes that some applications may require additional adapters depending on the fitting configuration.
By reducing mess, improving sealing performance, and simplifying lubrication procedures, the LAGC S provides maintenance teams with a cleaner, safer, and more efficient greasing solution across a wide range of industrial environments.
