AlfaOBL Launches U.S. Manufacturing to Reintroduce Blackline Pumps in North America

AlfaOBL America Inc., the North American arm of Italian pump manufacturer AlfaOBL, has officially begun operations at its new manufacturing facility in Plano, Texas. This launch marks the reintroduction of the Blackline series of mechanical diaphragm and plunger metering pumps to the North American market, backed by a 48-hour guaranteed fulfillment on its core product range.

The Blackline pump series offers flow rates from 7 to 1,500 liters per hour, pressures up to 1,450 psig, and can handle viscosities up to 50,000 cps. These pumps are equipped with advanced control options tailored for water treatment, chemical processing, oil and gas, and key infrastructure sectors—including the expanding data center industry.

Strategically located in Plano, the new U.S. facility is fully operational and designed to meet growing domestic demand.

“At AlfaOBL America, we’re addressing one of the industry’s biggest pain points: extended lead times and rising prices,” said Raul Aguilar, Managing Director of AlfaOBL America Inc. “By keeping finished goods in stock and using a just-in-time fulfillment approach, we’re not just speeding up delivery—we’re guaranteeing it.”

This U.S. expansion aligns with AlfaOBL’s global strategy of localizing manufacturing to better serve regional markets. Core production remains based in Milan, Italy, under the leadership of Daniele Di Cesare, President of AlfaOBL Italy. “Our investment in the North American market underscores our long-term commitment to quality, innovation, and service,” said Di Cesare. “This move allows us to support customers with local inventory, faster response times, and the engineering excellence AlfaOBL is known for.”

AlfaOBL America is currently expanding its distributor network and strengthening strategic partnerships across multiple industries.
