Alpha Innotec, the German expert in heating and cooling, has introduced two new models to its Hybrox line of residential air-to-water heat pumps.
“These additions, the Hybrox 11 and 16, expand the existing Hybrox range by offering more powerful options,” the company announced. “Their high-performance capabilities make them perfect for both renovation projects and upgrades.”
These new heat pumps serve multiple purposes: they provide room heating, domestic hot water, and cooling.
The Hybrox 11 model boasts an 11 kW size with a heating output of 7 kW and a cooling output of 4 kW. Its dimensions are 1,210 mm x 1,330 mm x 645 mm, with a maximum flow temperature of 70°C. Its coefficient of performance (COP) ranges between 4.3 and 5.2.
Meanwhile, the Hybrox 16 comes with a 16 kW capacity, 10.4 kW for heating, and 6.2 kW for cooling. It shares the same size as the Hybrox 11 and has a maximum flow temperature of 76°C. Its COP varies from 4.1 to 5.3.
Both units utilize propane (R290) as their refrigerant.
The company boasts that these heat pumps can maintain a flow temperature of 65°C even when the outside temperature drops to -22°C.
“All our new Hybrox models are now smart grid-enabled. They can be remotely managed via the myUplink platform and integrated with home energy management systems,” the company added.
In addition to these new models, the Hybrox series also includes smaller variants with 5 kW and 8 kW capacities.
