Armstrong adds to range of vertical-in-line fire pumps

Armstrong Fluid Technology has expanded its range of constant-speed vertical in-line fire pumps, now offering models with a maximum flow of 500 USGPM for both 60Hz and 50Hz markets. The latest additions feature high-pressure ratings of up to 160 PSI, providing enhanced performance for critical fire protection applications.

Unlike traditional horizontal split-case designs, Armstrong’s vertical in-line fire pumps eliminate the need for offset piping and motor realignment, reducing installation complexity while saving valuable floor space. Additional advantages include a smaller motor for the same duty point, a significantly reduced environmental footprint compared to standard diesel pumps, and full UL/ULC and FM approvals.

“Armstrong is one of only four manufacturers capable of offering a vertical in-line fire pump that reaches 160 PSI at 500 USGPM,” said Michael DeMille, Global Offering Manager for Fire Pumps at Armstrong Fluid Technology. “This new model is a strong addition to our existing vertical in-line pump series, reinforcing our commitment to innovation in fire protection.”
