Atlas Copco Group’s Lewa GmbH has significantly upgraded its Lewa Ecoflow LDG process pump, boosting hydraulic power by 15%—all within the same compact footprint.
Enhanced Performance Without Additional Space or Cost
The improved Ecoflow LDG offers greater efficiency while maintaining its existing size and installation requirements. For instance:
- At a 300 l/h flow rate, the maximum discharge pressure increases from 659 bar to 713 bar.
- At a 100 bar discharge pressure, the maximum flow rate rises from 2,600 l/h to 2,950 l/h.
This enhanced power-to-size ratio allows operators to achieve higher performance without expanding system space or increasing costs.
Optimized Productivity for Space-Constrained Applications
“Optimizing productivity in processing applications requires balancing pressure and flow rate, while space is always limited,” said Nicoline Walther, Product Manager for the Lewa Ecoflow range.
“By increasing the power-to-footprint ratio of our Ecoflow LDG pump, customers can specify a smaller unit while still achieving superior performance. Compared to the next pump size in the Ecoflow range, the LDG can reduce space requirements by up to 40%.”
Key Upgrades & Modular Versatility
- Power output increased from 35kN to 40kN.
- Following the success of the Ecoflow LDZ upgrade, which increased power from 45kN to 50kN, enhancing performance by 10%.
- Part of the Lewa Ecoflow modular system, which offers eight drive sizes and six different pump heads.
- Handles aggressive, abrasive, toxic, and flammable fluids across industries including energy, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and food & beverage.
The latest Ecoflow LDG upgrade continues Lewa’s tradition of engineering excellence, providing high-efficiency pumping solutions for demanding industrial applications
