DESMI has announced its acquisition of Nordan Marine A/S, a Denmark-based provider of pumps and service solutions for cargo and fuel handling systems, including systems designed for LPG, LEG carriers, LNG vessels, and alternative fuel-capable ships.
This acquisition reinforces DESMI’s commitment to delivering high-quality flow solutions and services across the maritime industry, while continuing to serve a broad range of other sectors.
With this expansion, DESMI is enhancing its portfolio of gas cargo and fuel pump solutions, now incorporating advanced technologies for emerging and alternative fuel types.
“As part of our growth strategy, we aim to provide shipowners and shipyards with the products and solutions they need—especially as the industry transitions to green fuels,” said Rasmus Folsø, Head of New Green Solutions at DESMI.
“We are excited to welcome Nordan Marine to the DESMI family,” added Humphrey Lau, Group CEO of DESMI. “Their expertise will enhance our service offerings and strengthen our ability to support the transition to green fuels.”
Founded in 2011 by Kent Mahon Krogh and Allan Bech, Nordan Marine has built a strong reputation in the maritime service sector.
“We have developed a solid brand, a motivated team, and a strong foundation for further growth under DESMI’s ownership,” said Kent Mahon Krogh, Managing Director of Nordan Marine.
“Nordan Marine is already in a strong position, but with DESMI’s global expertise and support, we can fully realize our potential for the benefit of both employees and customers worldwide,” added Karsten Ries, Chairman of the Board at Nordan Marine.
