India Dams Conference
India is entering a critical phase in the evolution of its dam infrastructure. With over 6,500 dams across the country and several new projects planned, the focus is shifting toward improving safety, modernizing aging assets, and strengthening water and energy security. The Bharat Dams Conference will bring together policymakers, dam authorities, hydropower developers, engineers, contractors, and technology providers to discuss how regulations such as the Dam Safety Act 2021 are reshaping dam safety, compliance, and monitoring practices across the country.
