Grundfos Joins Water Resilience Coalition to Tackle Global Water Stress

Grundfos has become a member of the Water Resilience Coalition, a CEO-led initiative aimed at driving corporate action to address water stress worldwide.

The coalition operates under the CEO Water Mandate, a partnership between the Pacific Institute and the United Nations Global Compact. By 2030, it seeks to unite a critical mass of companies to enhance water resilience within their operations and supply chains while supporting collective efforts to improve water conditions in 100 of the world’s most water-stressed basins.

“The global water crisis demands a unified, collaborative response and deserves the same level of focus as the climate agenda,” said Poul Due Jensen, CEO of Grundfos. “That is why I am extremely excited for Grundfos to join the Water Resilience Coalition alongside companies that share our passion and vision for accelerating the water agenda.”

As part of its commitment, Due Jensen has also signed the Water Resilience Pledge, ensuring that Grundfos will deliver measurable impact by 2030.

The Water Resilience Coalition now comprises 39 member companies.

“The momentum we are witnessing—from new members to deepened corporate leadership in priority basins—proves that water stewardship is no longer optional. It is a business and sustainability imperative,” said Jason Morrison, head of the CEO Water Mandate.

Additionally, more than 60 companies have endorsed the CEO Water Mandate in 2025, bringing the total number of committed companies to 478. These organizations are dedicated to advancing water resilience across their operations, supply chains, and watershed management efforts.
