KSB Unveils High-Efficiency MultiTec Plus Pump for Drinking Water Applications

KSB Group has introduced the MultiTec Plus pump series, engineered for high-pressure water transport with a strong focus on energy efficiency and operational flexibility.

Optimized Energy Efficiency & Smart Monitoring

  • The MultiTec Plus pumps are paired with synchronous reluctance motors and PumpDrive variable speed systems, significantly reducing energy consumption and carbon footprint.
  • PumpDrive technology automatically adjusts pump output to match demand, preventing energy waste.
  • The optional KSB Guard monitoring system tracks temperature and vibration data in real-time, transmitting insights to the KSB Cloud. Any anomalies trigger alerts, allowing for proactive maintenance and reduced downtime.

Performance & Design Features

  • Casing Pressure: Up to 25 bar
  • Maximum Head: Nearly 250 meters
  • Flow Rate: Up to 470 m³/h
  • Motor Speed: 1450 RPM (50 Hz) / 1750 RPM (60 Hz)
  • Quiet Operation: Lower speeds reduce noise and minimize wear, extending service life and maintaining efficiency.

Versatile Installation & Durability

  • Suction and discharge nozzle arrangements are customizable, ensuring installation flexibility.
  • Available in horizontal and vertical designs, with multiple bearing configurations.
  • Self-adjusting silicon carbide plain bearings and axial thrust balancing enhance long-term reliability.
  • Wear-resistant casing rings protect transition areas, ensuring extended durability.

With a maximum fluid temperature of 60°C, the MultiTec Plus series is ideal for drinking water applications, offering a high-performance, low-maintenance solution tailored for sustainable and reliable water transport.
