Management change at SFP Hydraulics

Kevin Rasefske, founder and managing director of SFP Hydraulics, left the company on January 31 that year for personal reasons, as planned. Robin Hodgson took over as General Manager and was responsible for the future strategic and operational direction of SFP Hydraulics.

SFP Hydraulics, Inc. specializes in the development, manufacturer, and distribution of bladder accumulators, piston accumulators, and pressure vessels for hydraulic systems. The company was founded in 2014 by Kevin Rasefske and other partners. For over a decade, Kevin Rasefske drove the growth of the Katy, Texas-based company with great commitment, foresight, and entrepreneurial success. In 2024, the owner-managed German group Roth Industries, which also included Roth Hydraulics, acquired the company. Kevin Rasefske initially remained Managing Director and made a decisive contribution to the integration of the company into the Roth Group and the consolidation of the international teams.

“Kevin Rasefske had a lasting impact on the company and positioned it strategically,” said Frank Fuchs, Managing Director of Roth Hydraulics, who highlighted the entrepreneurial vision and leadership skills of the company’s founder. “We thank him for his tireless dedication and his significant contribution to the positive development of SFP Hydraulics.”

Kevin Rasefske’s decision to step down from operational management was communicated early on to ensure a structured and smooth transition.

Robin Hodgson took over

Robin Hodgson became the new General Manager of SFP Hydraulics, taking up his position on January 12, 2026. Born in the UK, he has extensive international experience in senior sales and management roles and has been successful in the US market for many years.

“With Robin Hodgson, we gained an experienced leader with an international profile and a deep understanding of the market,” said Frank Fuchs. “We are confident that this management change will ensure continuity, stability, and new impetus for our customers and partners.”
