TÜV SÜD National Engineering Laboratory, a world-leading authority on flow measurement, has been at the forefront of flow measurement technology for over 60 years. It is also the UK’s Designated Institute for Flow Measurement and part of the UK’s National Measurement System (NMS). Being part of the NMS enables us to maintain and develop extensive full-scale test facilities for a range of fluids. These facilities offer industry the opportunity to test products at full scale in a controlled laboratory setting, prior to installation in a real-world environment.
The company’s experience of valve testing is unparalleled with a long history of supplying manufacturers and valve end-users with independent and accurate test data. In addition, to physical testing of valves, TÜV SÜD also has an in-house Computational Fluid Dynamics team of experts and has started work on CCUS and hydrogen testing facilities.
