Metso Secures Additional Orders for South32’s Hermosa Project in Arizona

Metso has received new orders to supply crushing, grinding, automation, and pump plant equipment for South32’s greenfield Hermosa project, located in the Patagonia Mountains of southern Arizona.

The delivery will include a comprehensive range of Metso’s advanced equipment: VF Series vertical froth pumps, MD Series mill discharge pumps, Orion Series slurry pumps, VS Series sump pumps, a Nordberg HP pebble crusher, Vertimill regrind mills, Courier on-stream analyzers, PSI particle size analyzers, and LSA and MSA samplers.

Tiago Oliveira, Vice President of Metso’s Pumps Business Line, highlighted the company’s focus on sustainable technologies: “Metso’s plant equipment is designed for ease of use and operational efficiency.
