Atlas Copco’s acquisition of Wangen Pumpen, KSB’s new pressure booster system for water supply and Amarinth’s 18m-long pumps were the most popular stories on the World Pumps website in February.

1. 

Atlas Copco has agreed to acquire the German industrial pump manufacturer Pumpenfabrik Wangen GmbH from private equity firm Silverfleet Capital.

2. 

KSB has released its new ready-to-connect pressure booster systems for the Delta Macro type series, which are units that operate fully automatically and are equipped with between two and six Movitec high-efficiency centrifugal pumps.

Amarinth has completed a US$1.5 million order from Armada Madura for six API 610 VS4 vertical pumps for a new FPSO being built for India’s Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC).
