SEKO’s KommBox revolutionizes chemical dosing pump control and cost management

Chemical dosing pump specialist SEKO has announced the launch of KommBox, a device that physically links to compatible SEKO products to allow them to connect to the internet and give operators the power to remotely monitor and control their process.

Once KommBox is configured, users can connect to products such as controllers and chemical dosing pump systems via the online SekoWeb portal 24/7 via smartphone or PC for unprecedented operational efficiency.

This on-demand remote connectivity means operators can monitor system performance and chemical consumption in real time as well as analyze historical data in order to get a clear picture of their costs and make programming adjustments without the need to be on site.

Controlled via a seven-key user interface, KommBox features an intuitive wizard installation system that enables quick and simple management of up to 10 devices in the same wired Modbus RS485 network.

The robust system has an IP65-rated housing for the highest level of protection against dust and excellent resistance to water jets, making it suitable for most industrial environments.
