Sundyne appoints new regional sales manager for North and Latin America

Alton Smith has joined Sundyne as regional sales manager for North and Latin America, focusing on the chemical and industrial (C&I) markets.

In his new role, Smith will strengthen customer facing initiatives and work with Sundyne’s internal teams to expand across the C&I space.

Smith comes to Sundyne with more than 30 years of experience in selling highly engineered equipment and service solutions to the downstream and midstream sectors. He has worked extensively with EPCs, OEMs and end users in the renewable energy, oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical and power generation markets.

Prior to Sundyne, Smith served as vice president of sales for Fluid Sealing International, where he developed strategies to strengthen & grow distributor sales, while also overseeing training and applications support. He previously served as a regional sales manager for EKATO Systems. Smith began his career at Flowserve Corp’s Seal Division and has also worked with midstream oil & gas OEMs at EagleBurgmann and John Crane Inc.

Smith will be based out of Houston, Texas.
