Vogelsang releases new industrial pumps

Vogelsang has launched two new industrial pump series, the EP and VY series rotary lobe pumps for media with high demands.

The EP series from Vogelsang is designed for extreme conditions and constant high pressures.

The EP series from Vogelsang is designed for extreme conditions and constant high pressures.

Both the EP series and the VY series are made from a single-piece housing designed for optimal flow. The pumps can be equipped with a variety of sealing systems, making them flexibly deployable in demanding areas as the oil, gas and chemical industries.

The EP series from Vogelsang is designed for extreme conditions and constant high pressures. A heavy-duty gearbox allows for a uniform pressure output of up to 18 bar. The pumps consist of one-piece housing and reliably pump even abrasive, chemically aggressive and explosive flow media at temperatures of up to 200° C. Helical gears in the gearbox ensure smooth performance and reduce noise emissions. Pulsation-free conveying reduces wear on the adjacent pipeline to a minimum.

Vogelsang has also equipped its EP series with an AirGap for high operational reliability. The AirGap atmospherically separates the gearbox and pump chamber, ensuring that in the event of a leak, liquid will drain off to the outside rather than leaking into the gearbox. The AirGap also protects the gearbox when pumping hot media.

With the VY series, Vogelsang has further developed its VX series, opening up new areas of application. The pumps have a flow-optimised one-piece housing and different seals can be used in a variety of ways in the new housing depending on industry-specific standards and requirements. The VY series’ versatility makes it suitable for use in the chemical industry, as well as in the paper and textile sectors. The VY pumps’ performance spectrum ranges from 1 m³/h to 120 m³/h at a maximum pressure of 10 bar.

Vogelsang will present its EP and VY series for the first time to a broad industry audience at ACHEMA in Frankfurt, which takes place from 22-26 August 2022.
