Atlas Copco Acquires Pomac BV

NACKA, Sweden – Pomac BV, a Dutch company renowned for its development and manufacturing of hygienic pumps, has officially joined the Atlas Copco Group.

Founded in 1977 and headquartered in Tolbert, Pomac specializes in a comprehensive range of hygienic pumps marketed under the Pomac Pumps brand. These pumps are widely utilized across various industries, with a significant focus on the food and beverage sector.

Andrew Walker, President of Atlas Copco’s Power Technique business area, stated, “This acquisition allows us to further enhance our product portfolio within the industrial pump market by incorporating additional technology and a broader product range.”

The details regarding the purchase price remain undisclosed. In 2023, Pomac reported revenues of approximately €8.3 million (or SEK 95.3 million) and currently employs 23 staff members
