DXP Enterprises Acquires Arroyo Process Equipment

DXP Enterprises Inc. has announced the acquisition of Arroyo Process Equipment, a Florida-based distributor specializing in pumps, process equipment, and related services. Arroyo primarily serves industries such as asphalt, mining, industrial water, chemicals, and other industrial markets.

Founded in 1968, Arroyo operates from three strategic locations across northern, central, and southern Florida, serving both local and nearby markets.

“Arroyo is an excellent addition to our rotating equipment platform and supports our vision of becoming North America’s leading rotating equipment company,” said David Little, chairman and CEO of DXP Enterprises. “Their sales expertise will bolster our customer collaboration and help drive further growth for DXP. With Arroyo, we gain a clear market leader in Florida.”

Little also noted that Arroyo’s strong Florida presence and specialized expertise align well with DXP’s technical offerings. “This acquisition not only strengthens our marketing strategies but also provides us with notable talent as we enhance our customer service capabilities,” he added.

Kent Yee, chief financial officer of DXP Enterprises, highlighted the strategic value of the transaction: “This acquisition is part of our ongoing strategy to enter new markets and expand business models that enhance DXP’s capabilities. Arroyo helps diversify our end markets and increases our scale in Florida, a region where we have historically underperformed.”
