Netzsch Peripro pumps installed at waste and wastewater treatment plant in Singapore

Netzsch Pumpen & Systeme GmbH has supplied eight size 10/66 Peripro peristaltic pumps for use in a solid waste and wastewater treatment plant in Singapore.

The Peripro in size 10/66 was first presented at IFAT 2024 in Munich, Germany. Now, eight of the pumps have been installed in one of the most important environmental projects in Southeast Asia.

The world’s first integrated solid waste and wastewater treatment plant is completely energy self-sufficient. The water treatment plant will treat up to 800,000 cubic metres of water per day and generate more than 20 MW of electricity in the process. With their innovative design and long service life, the peristaltic pumps make a significant contribution to the reliable and efficient operation of the plant.
