Seepex Showcases Smart Pump Technologies at IFAT 2026

Seepex is unveiling a range of advanced pump and monitoring technologies at IFAT 2026 in Munich, with a strong focus on improving efficiency, reliability, and digitalisation across wastewater and industrial operations.

Exhibiting in Hall B1, Booth 215, the company is demonstrating solutions designed to help operators reduce energy consumption, simplify maintenance, and gain greater visibility into process performance.

Launch of Seepex IQ Smart Monitoring System

A major highlight at the exhibition is the launch of Seepex IQ, a new pump monitoring solution developed to make predictive maintenance and condition monitoring more accessible and user-friendly.

The compact system can be mounted directly onto pumps using a magnetic fixture and operates through either a frequency inverter or a standard 12–24 VDC power supply, eliminating the need for complicated wiring installations.

The system continuously monitors key operating parameters including:

  • Temperature
  • Discharge pressure
  • Vibration

Collected data is transmitted via Bluetooth to the Seepex Cloud using LTE or NB-IoT connectivity, allowing operators to access real-time performance information remotely.

Its modular design also enables additional sensors to be integrated according to operational requirements.

Easy Maintenance Macerator Reduces Service Time

Seepex is also showcasing its Easy Maintenance Macerator, introduced earlier this year for solids-handling applications.

The redesigned system delivers improved cutting performance while significantly simplifying maintenance procedures.

Key features include:

  • Foldable cutting unit
  • Reversible components
  • Simplified cleaning access

According to the company, these enhancements can reduce maintenance time by up to 80% while improving operational reliability and workplace safety.

Smart Conveying and Energy-Efficient Solutions

Additional technologies featured at the exhibition include:

  • Smart Air Injection (SAI)
  • Smart Conveying Technology (SCT)

The Smart Air Injection system combines progressive cavity pumping with dense phase conveying to improve the energy-efficient transport of viscous materials.

Meanwhile, Smart Conveying Technology allows in-place pump maintenance without disconnecting pipework, helping minimise downtime and simplify servicing procedures.

Supporting Smarter Industrial Operations

As industries increasingly focus on automation, predictive maintenance, and energy efficiency, solutions such as Seepex IQ demonstrate how digital technologies are transforming fluid handling and wastewater management operations.

By combining intelligent monitoring systems with practical engineering improvements, Seepex continues to support more efficient, reliable, and sustainable industrial processes.
