SJE has announced the acquisition of Revere Control Systems (“Revere”). Revere is a premier turnkey provider of controls and automation solutions performing a full suite of engineering services for water and industrial applications.
Founded in 1980, Revere has grown to become a full-service system integrator of control solutions across design, engineering, networking and programming with expertise in municipal water and industrial automation. Based in Birmingham, AL Revere has additional locations in Florida, Texas and North Carolina.
“The Revere team’s comprehensive engineering capabilities are highly complementary to SJE’s existing offerings and have set them apart in the market,” said Bjorn Haldorsen, CEO of SJE. “Revere has deep sector expertise that, combined with the quality of their engineering services, has established them as true partners to their customers across markets.”
Revere President Andy Wilson similarly sees benefits and enhancement to Revere customers’ experience through SJE’s service capabilities and geographic reach. Wilson said, “The Revere team is excited to partner with SJE and believes SJE’s existing offerings will drive incremental value to our customers and help us expand into new end markets.”
Revere represents SJE’s fifth acquisition since 2021 and second this year. SJE previously acquired ICON Technologies, an integrator of variable frequency drive control systems for the water & wastewater market based in Tampa Bay, Florida that expands SJE’s expertise into new types of control systems.
