Electra Mining Africa 2026 Highlights the Future of Industrial Technology and Innovation

Electra Mining Africa 2026 is set to showcase the latest technologies transforming the mining, manufacturing and industrial sectors, providing industry professionals with access to innovative solutions that improve productivity, safety, operational efficiency and sustainability.

Taking place from 7 to 11 September 2026 at the Johannesburg Expo Centre in Nasrec, the exhibition has expanded by 4,000 square metres compared with the previous edition, reaching a record 44,000 square metres of exhibition space. More than 1,000 local and international exhibitors are expected to participate, reflecting continued confidence in Africa’s industrial sector.

The exhibition will feature a broad range of products and technologies, including large-scale mining equipment, industrial machinery, automation systems, artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, predictive maintenance solutions, digital manufacturing technologies and power systems. Visitors will also explore pumps, valves, welding and fabrication equipment, personal protective equipment (PPE), engineering services and industrial components designed to support modern industrial operations.

As industries increasingly adopt digital transformation, Electra Mining Africa will demonstrate how connected technologies are helping businesses optimise asset performance, reduce downtime, strengthen workplace safety and improve operational decision-making. The event will highlight the growing integration of automation, smart manufacturing and intelligent operational systems across mining and industrial environments.

Beyond the exhibition floor, attendees will have access to technical seminars, workshops and networking opportunities focused on industry trends, innovation and professional development. The introduction of the SAIMechE Skills and Career Hub for 2026 will further strengthen collaboration between industry, educational institutions and training providers, supporting the development of future engineering talent.

By bringing together leaders from the mining, construction, manufacturing, automation, power and engineering sectors, Electra Mining Africa continues to provide a leading platform for showcasing technologies that will shape the future of industrial development across Africa.
