Electra Mining Africa 2026 is set to bring together leading technology providers, equipment manufacturers, engineering specialists and industry professionals to showcase the latest innovations transforming the mining, manufacturing and industrial sectors.

Taking place from 7–11 September 2026 at the Johannesburg Expo Centre, Nasrec, the exhibition has expanded by 4,000 square metres compared with the previous edition, reaching a record 44,000 square metres of exhibition space. More than 1,000 local and international exhibitors are expected to participate.

The event will feature thousands of products, technologies and services designed to improve productivity, operational efficiency, workplace safety and sustainability. Exhibits will include mining equipment, industrial machinery, automation systems, artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, predictive maintenance technologies, digital manufacturing solutions, power systems, pumps, valves, welding equipment, fabrication technologies, personal protective equipment (PPE), engineering services and industrial components.

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore emerging technologies, compare solutions from multiple suppliers and engage directly with technical experts to identify innovations that address operational challenges across mining and industrial operations.

As industries increasingly adopt integrated digital technologies, Electra Mining Africa will highlight how automation, electrical systems, power solutions, transport technologies and advanced manufacturing work together to create smarter and more efficient industrial environments.

In addition to the exhibition, attendees can participate in a comprehensive programme of seminars, technical workshops and networking opportunities. The new SAIMechE Skills and Career Hub will also provide a platform for collaboration between industry, education and training institutions, supporting the development of future engineering and technical talent.

Electra Mining Africa continues to serve as one of the continent’s premier industrial exhibitions, providing a platform for businesses to discover cutting-edge technologies, strengthen partnerships and explore solutions that will shape the future of mining and industrial operations.
