Tencarva Machinery Company has acquired Atlantic Valve & Equipment, a manufacturer’s representative serving the municipal and industrial water/wastewater markets of Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland, Washington, DC and West Virginia in the US.
Headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, Atlantic Valve provides gate valves, butterfly valves, plug valves, hydraulic/electric control valves, and ductile iron fabrications and fittings, from brands such as Kennedy Valve, Clow Valve, M&H Valve, ITT Fabri, Onyx Valve, Ross Valve, McWane Ductile, Tyler Union and Clearwater Manufacturing.
Atlantic Valve’s management team will continue in their roles under Tencarva ownership.

Tencarva is backed by Bessemer Investors LLC, a New York-based investment firm.
