Netzsch Pumps USA has appointed Larry Condon as its new biogas market manager, strengthening the company’s focus on pump solutions for biogas production, renewable natural gas and organic waste processing applications.
Condon brings more than 18 years of business development experience across renewable energy, renewable natural gas and organic waste infrastructure. In his new role, he will lead the development and implementation of Netzsch’s biogas market strategy while supporting customers, engineering firms and system integrators.
A key part of Condon’s responsibilities will be helping customers and engineering firms select and integrate pump technologies that support reliable biogas plant operations. He will also work on product development and new product launches aimed at improving Netzsch’s capabilities in the growing biogas market.
The company said the appointment will help connect its pumping technologies with plant performance and biogas yield by matching equipment designs to specific organic-processing requirements.
Condon’s previous experience includes developing strategic partnerships and advancing renewable energy and waste infrastructure projects from early-stage concepts through to large-scale implementations across North America, as well as working with organisations in the United States and Europe.
His experience also covers feedstock development, offtake strategies and integrated waste-to-value platforms, areas that are increasingly important as industries look to convert organic waste into useful energy resources.
Netzsch manufactures a range of fluid-handling equipment, including progressing cavity pumps, rotary lobe pumps, multiple screw pumps, peristaltic pumps, grinders and macerators, as well as metering systems and related accessories.
The company supplies pumping systems to industrial and municipal customers globally, with its technologies supporting applications where reliable handling of challenging fluids and organic materials is required.
The appointment comes as investment in biogas, renewable natural gas and waste-to-energy infrastructure continues to create opportunities for specialised pumping and processing equipment.
